It's Friday. The music leaders played Before the Throne of God Above. I asked, "Lord, what is it that keeps me from fully trusting You?" I pondered that question looking for a simple answer to put on the paper I held in my hand...I couldn't find one. There were too many to write on that scrap...Then He said, "Give Me your heart; that's all I want." I give up. I can't truly and fully trust Him...I don't know how...I just surrender my all- my stuff- and ask Him to be everything...None of the things that seem to be important to me matter. "God, You do the providing however You wish, and I'll just trust in who You are and show Yourself to be one day at a time knowing.You will guide me to the place You wish me to be." It's Friday. I sat in the pew looking at the big wooden cross before me. I don't know about you, but I don't think I will ever be able to comprehend what He did for me there-hanging on that tree.
